About the program

Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center (LAMC) has offered an ACGME-accredited General Surgery training program since 1973. Our goal is to train well-rounded general surgeons who will have unlimited career options at the conclusion of training. Graduates of the program are well prepared for the clinical practice of general surgery as well as for the pursuit of subspecialty fellowships of their choosing.
